A home for your AI prompts
If you use AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude regularly, you've probably written a great prompt...
...and then lost it forever.
It's buried in chat history. Or saved as a screenshot. Or living in some random Notes app you'll never open again.
That bothered me enough that I decided to build something.
Why I Built PromptPool
Prompts aren't throwaway messages. They're reusable assets.
But the way we use AI today doesn't treat them that way. Every new chat feels like starting from zero, even when you already know what works.
I wanted:
- A single place to store prompts
- A way to reuse and improve them
- A way to learn from how others write prompts
That's where PromptPool came from.
What Is PromptPool?
PromptPool is a free platform for saving, organizing, and discovering AI prompts.
It works with:
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Gemini
- Copilot
- Midjourney
- and anything else that takes text prompts
The easiest way to describe it is:
GitHub for AI prompts — without the overhead.
Designed to Stay Out of Your Way
PromptPool is intentionally simple.
There's no complex setup, no folders to manage, and no learning curve.
Getting started looks like this:
- Sign in with Google or GitHub
- Create a prompt
- Add a few tags
- Done
From there, everything revolves around reuse and discovery.
Your Prompt Library
Once you're logged in, your dashboard becomes your prompt home base.
You can:
- See all your prompts in one place
- Search them instantly
- Keep prompts private or make them public
- Copy any prompt with one click
No more digging through chat history.
Discover Prompts from the Community
PromptPool isn't just for storing your own prompts — it's also a place to explore what others are building.
The Explore page lets you:
- Browse public prompts
- Search by keyword
- Filter by tags
- Sort by newest or most forked
You can preview a prompt without leaving the page, and if it looks useful...
Fork It and Make It Yours
Instead of copying and pasting prompts manually, PromptPool lets you fork them.
Forking a prompt:
- Creates a copy in your library
- Keeps credit to the original author
- Lets you freely edit and improve it
This makes prompts collaborative instead of disposable.
Built for Real Prompts
PromptPool supports:
- Short prompts
- Long system prompts
- Multi-step workflows
- Prompts up to 50,000 characters
Whether you're experimenting or building repeatable AI workflows, it doesn't get in your way.
Public Profiles
Every user has a public profile that shows their shared prompts.
It's a simple way to:
- Learn how others structure prompts
- Share your own work with a link
- Discover new ideas organically
Try It Out
If you use AI regularly, PromptPool can save you time and help you build better prompts over time.
Your best prompts deserve a permanent home.
Thanks for checking it out — and if you have feedback, I'd genuinely love to hear it.
